also was on an episode of ice road truckers. seen and off roading vid it was used also.

i keep a can of ether in the car with me. when i roll tires off the bead rally cross–this helps seat it quickly.
yes it works make sure what ever you use is extremely flamible or is just catches on fire like the jack ass that i work with did to his back hoe tire.

it used ot be common in heavy equipment places to do that. but i think they pretty much outlawed that practice for obvious reasons

i have done it few time on the lawn tractor and it works, i have never got one to go that fast though it normally takes afew seconds thant thing was instant

I use gas. I have done it before and it burns for a few seconds after if u dont have the valve stem in it will suck air and possibly suck it back off the bead
Yep, it works. I’ve used it on our Bobcat when the tire comes off the rim. Use a can of starting fluid just like in the video, spray it inside the tire all the way around then light it quickly. Of course it’s dangerous so be careful…
I’ve done that with offroad tires multiple times. Great trick thats been around for a while.
learned that in west newton… you should see the bead removal with a pry bar. :kekegay:
