I’ve been watching the prices on snow tires pretty closely, the all season firestones are already a piece of shit after one year and would not make it this winter.
Found this deal on tirerack today, just had to pull the trigger.
Set of General Altimax Arctic tires ($46 each closeout), mounted on new 14’’ steelies ($20 each closeout)

$339.80 not bad for a new set of wheels and snow tires mounted including shipping.
Only shitty part is I have to wait 2 weeks for them to come in…

holy crap, looks like you are right. my apologies. It’s hard to believe, but since they’re 14" tires that is possible.

haha silly bimmer fuckers…
That tire is meh. You guys honestly save jack shit with tire rack especially when you factor in most places just charge balancing when you buy tires from them.
I have a set of these. I hit some snow with them in Orleans county. They were great. We’ll see how they are at the end of winter.

They are when you drive to the southtowns pretty regularly, and don’t want to end up in a ditch.
I used to for work in OP…now just around the Cheektovegas/ Amherst area.
Honestly, deal with them face to face, no they are not, they are actually really shitty
