Tires, tires, tires.

geoff,… how much sportbike x erie nce ya got? dual compund tires always "in a way " give you more tire for themoney cause at least the sides will wear somewhat comprable to the centers. thing is does it matter? it really depends on where u r on the learning curve. most modern rubber works if rider rides at a semi reasonable street pace…those soft sides aregreat if your using them .different tire profiles make as big of a difference as compound choices… what year cbr yagot and what tires did yabuy? i think you’ll be fine.

Visit don georges. they’re always the cheapest tire house in town and mounting/balancing is also super cheap. go 2ct or dunlop qualifier.

oh my god, the bike feels so good now.

only about 1/4" left to go to get rid of the chicken strips :naughty:

Be careful, make sure theyre broken in… how many miles do you have on them now?

I dont know how i missed this thread before… if you would have bought a 190 i would have smacked you. engineers should know better.

+1 on the smack and a thumbs up for getting the pilots. they really are a great tire, and in all honesty most riders around here will probably never exceed the potential of the tires. If you wana know why not to get a bigger tire than your rim will handle just ask. ill tell ya lol.

^ why?

I agree, but i wanna hear a story…

PS… op. please post pics of tires or action shots of you draggin yo’ knees.

someone get a goddamn camera on me then
