to cage or not to cage [your opinions]

nice, but door bars are to low

there’s a pricy project

that is sick looking though
looks like that person has been doig a good job on it. i like it

i’m down with the cage… if its a street truck though i would leave the interior as is and make the cage look factory. either just paint to match the exterior/interior or cover it in leather. most of the street trucks at carlisle with cages make them look just like a factory option

caging = no longer a daily driven truck = 1 less exscuse

just cuz you got a cage doesnt mean u cant daily drive no more

cage +1

hope mine gets to thoe point it will need a cage, adn ill still DD my car then

i’d get a cage now just to have it stiffen up this unibody stuff. but the car aint fast enough to really need one yet…but it would help on a roadcourse tho.

cage it and put a muzzle on your mouth while ur at it

:bigthumb: ,dont u mean keyboard

been searching some and found some pics. one cage posted is supposly illegal

now i see parish’s truck im wondering once you go cage is your bed now permantly non-removable now?

parish sent me these

a few more

now if i went ahead and did this i would use a tonneau cover, tint the glass and maybe try and get the cage tighter

i’d cage it…

parish’s seems like a very simple roll bar cage. there isnt any front pieces around the dash like alot of truck cages i seen. would that be enough of a cage for 11.5 and under? i guess so if he runs near 9’s. if so then go for it. its a very clean setup. with the cover and tinted class, it will look very sweet

11.49 and faster used to be 5pt minum
so his 6pt is legal

awesome then do it up! very similar setup should blend well with what u got. just paint the bars and/or wrap them to match
