never took apart a keyboard, im guessin the keys just snap off?
Laptop or desktop? Laptop keyboards don’t usually come apart. But they’re only about $10-$15 on eBay. Desktop keyboards are even cheaper.
No…well yes, but no. There is usually 3-4 screws on the bottom of laptops that need to come out before the keyboard can be removed. If you can search for the model and try and find a disassembly guide (ex. “HP Pavillion Keyboard Replacement”). Then you usually pry the keyboard up, using a small utility knife or screwdriver helps. Disconnect the ribbon cable and that’s about it.
You can pop keys off. I do it all the time on my laptop to clean out parts of my lunch from under the keys.
