Are you one of those bastards that rides with a complete disregard of traffic law on your road bike?
I almost flattened some retard that blew a red light at a four way.
this pisses me off. Road bikes must follow all the rules of the road. You guys get pissy when a cars do this or that then the bikes do the same shit.
I blow through redlights all the time on my bicycle, but also don’t expect to be treated like a car.
FUCK NO. I stop, look, and if clear, go on my merry faggotry spandex way
So you won’t be mad when I hit you. That’s fine.
<3
To those of you throwing ball bearings and such at cars; if you were to make a mistake while driving and put a rider in a dangerous situation and he threw something at your car, would you be okay with that?
We’re all human. As much as all us big dick swingers won’t admit it on the boards.
Theoretically if I were to make a mistake and piss of a biker i’d be pissed as all hell if he took out my windshield. Conversly, if I was on a bike and someone put me in danger i’d want to throw something at them. Catch 22
There’s a difference between a mistake, and being an asshole. Mistake is a nice hand gesture; asshole is “opps my pocket opened”
Absolutely, but then again, I have never put myself in that situation. I’m sure you know as well as I do, being a rider puts your awareness at a much higher level then most drivers out on the road. I’m always looking for potential threats/cautions.
I would never blatantly cut off a rider, or mess with them on the road. And if by some act of god, I did put a rider in jeopardy, I would fully accept the ramifications that would follow.
Plus, I drive a freaking Chevy Prizm…c’mon, let’s be honest here if my windshield got smashed, I’d laugh pretty hard about it.

To the people throwing dangerous objects at cars I feel less sympathy. You’re just escalating the situation. Speed up… sow down… just get away.
I said it as a joke referring to the criminal case currently pending of a certain rider.
I love how whiny everyone gets.
I was almost pushed off the South GI bridge entrance when some ass hat in a yellow extera need to do a double lane merge with no traffic.
I was nearly killed twice on the 198, at night, in the rain on my way to class.
I was nearly killed when someone ran a red light…
I could write up dozens of close encounters, but there is no point bitching about them anymore.
On the contrary, I have also almost hit bikers and cars while driving on the road in a car. Sometimes it was my fault, sometimes it was not.
Everyone gets one free mistake. It’s easy to claim we are good drivers, but everyone screws up at one point.
The right of way is based on mass, not some silly traffic laws.
I keep a special eye out for bikers usually. Not because I am worried for their safety, but I would like to know if they are ass hats.
If you ride like an ass and do not watch out for those around you, then I feel no need to give you any extra space or
courtesy.
I tell everyone learning to ride or drive that you will need to expect people around you to do the dumbest thing imaginable. You will find you are correct a lot more often that you would think.
I’ll say it again; bikes are extremely dangerous. Your margin for error is 99% less than in a car. A simple hit that would be a $800 repair on a car becomes 5 months in hospital and broken bones on a bike.
My dad spent months in hospital as a teen, I’ve had a few other buddies that have had the same thing or died.
Don’t blame other drivers or cell phones… You accept 100% of the risk when you ride a bike.
Bullshit
LOL you guys are all whiners
Am I the only one that leaves myself a way out at red lights? I don’t care if I launch my bike into someones lawn. A bag of scotts turff builder is better than sitting in the ER 1/2 the summer.
I would love to ditch the big gay mirror on my bike, but its rather usefull and well placed.
should have called the cops on them
Truth. Know the risk or don’t ride. If you expect that other people are smart enough to do the right thing or watch for you, your nuts.
LOL

So are wheelies on the thruway, weaving in and out of cars, going way over the speed limit, making a mistake or being an asshole? Cuz to me thats being an asshole and thus deserves ball bearings thrown at them then.
What if someone got pissed off and went “oops, my pocket opened up on this on ramp bikers like to go around way to fast and all these BBs fell onto the road”
If you drive defensively, you should be able to avoid all but the most freakish of accidents. More often than not, these bikers seal their own fate with their actions.
