I sliced my thumb up at work and had to get it stitched up. I was fixing an air stapler and the staples cut my thumb. I had the front off and saw that the hammer was all the way down. So I slid it up and the whole row of staples just slid out when the hammer went above them. I guess they acted like a saw blade against my thumb. I should have known that the staples would fly out like that once I pushed the hammer up. However, I would never have expected them to cut like that on the way out. It happened so fast I did not even feel it. At least I was able to finish fixing it for the kids before I left. Now they can finish up their project.
The nice thing about going to Parkridge is that there is this really great Philly cheese steak place around the corner. They actually shave the ribeye steaks there to make the sandwich. So every time I have to go the hospital I stop and get one on the way home. The other nice thing is that I kept my accident insurance from when I was a cop. So I just submit the hospital bill and they will send me a check for $500. So I think I should slice my other thumb and then I can get my ported cylinder head.
