Today's "What was he thinking" thread

Twenty-four people had crowded into an elevator on which Andrew Polakowski, 18, of Erie, Pennsylvania, was killed Friday night, a fire official said Monday.
The 2,500-pound weight capacity of the elevator was exceeded by as much as 1,100 pounds, said Doug Smith, a battalion chief for the Columbus Division of Fire.

Sometimes you just have to be smart enough to look at a situation and say, “Um, yeah… I think I’ll wait for the next one, or maybe take the stairs”.

I’m sure there will still be a lawsuit though.

imagine watching that kid die though.Right in front of you get crushed.I wouldnt doubt if the people that seen him die will eventually sue for emotinal distress.

Sue who??? Each other for being morons?

They should really put signs up that say to take the stairs, not the elevator, if there’s a fire.
