Tonawanda engine plant hiring if anyone interested.Update post 50ish

nose candy?

LOL @ bump

when did the name change? :gotme: has it been that long… im not even that old

I’m convinced that this place can turn every possible thread into something about illegal sex acts, drugs, who has the smallest, or benchracing someone elses car.

ugh

Most people don’t use bump in the context RJ just used it though…

Oh yea LS1 > LT1

Most people don’t use your in the context RJ just used it either…

you must have never worked collections lol you can pull in $4k a month easy

You are supposed to be a Mod here. Does it give you pleasure to follow me around this forum and look for things to add to the drama? Any little letter you can point out I spelled wrong or anything I post that can be manipulated by you to be condescending or drama inducing you swoop down and jump right on the opportunity, like flies on shit. :rolljerk:

Grow the fuck up!

I did mostly the 3.5 and 3.9 V-6 motors then got laid off but I did get called back for about a week to some of the LS2’s

You guys still doing straight 8 over there? Say goodbye to that soon.

Two things:

Since when does being a mod mean I can’t poke fun of people?

and

My post was in reference to the long running NYSpeed joke on spelling. Specifically in response to LZ’s post. I don’t care if you were the subject matter, or anyone else.

See the similarities?

scabs

didn’t know there was a strike on?

back to bump… when did the name change… i thought it was a new name for “drinking” …

Christ… 1998?

That was the line I was part of.I forget how many 1000’s of engines they had to tear down. When they come out with a new engine I guess they need to get so many to pass before they can start putting them in cars.Kind of like the crash tests

Both the bigger lines are on 9 and 10 hrs. What does straight 8 mean?

Do you have any idea what you’re talking about?

See above post

Damn, I wish i could take the chance and quit my job for this one. Im looking for a change

I would do it but I don’t know anyone at GM. Is there anyway to get in there without knowing anyone?

Look at all the union bashers jumping on the opportunity to join lol. FWIW all new hires will be pounding screws day in day out. You will be at the bottom of the barrel while all the senior guys get long breaks. You might get lucky with a trucking job but most of you will have the shit jobs. But if you’ve never made that money before you will feel rich with the 50 hr paychecks. Hopefully you will get to stay long enough to pass the union probabtion period but be on your P’s and Q’s before that.

This is an opportunity to be hired full time. Say 100 legacy workers take the buyout or retire, GM will hire 100 new workers to replace them. But you won’t be making the 28/hr.

The paid 20 minutes lunch.
