I ended up finally taking a trip to Utah. Stopped in Salt Lake City, also hit up a couple ski resorts. I did some snowboarding at Snowbird and Brighton. Met up with 97FormulaWS-6 at Brighton and did a bunch of runs. Snagged a bunch of photos both stopped on the mountain, while riding on the mountain, and also in the city. What an amazing adventure this was and a life changing experence for me. I now know I’d love to move west if I could find work. (maybe emt/snow safety on the mountain)
Anyways, here are some photos for you guys to check out. First day was full of powder. I had a great week for this trip. Showed up to 9+ inch fresh first time boarding out west. Dream come true!
Just need to recalibrate my computer. I never know the lighting on this thing and feel my photos never look the way I want going from computer to computer.
My buddy was talking about seeing cars get taken off the road by boulders. imagine driving your car and the ass end gets taken out by a rock the size of a daewoo hits you.
Well hope you guys enjoyed the photos. I really loved it out there and would love to live there. Just dont know how my 4 cylinders would like the elevation. haha. An even slower honda than what I have… ouch!
Nikon D90 with either the kit 18-105 or I used the 35mm 1.8. Mostly the kit just because it did all the ranges I wanted.

Without a doubt. Although honest, Killington is probably better than Brighton. Longer runs and still has steep.
Snowbird really got me realizing how good I really am. You try boarding out here or VT and its one thing, you go out there and its a whole other story for sure. Some absolutely crazy things out there. I did however do a lot of tree runs there since they had the snow. A couple of tree runs as steep as the wall or steeper in spots.
I only paid $65 a ticket for Snowbird each day we did that. Brighton was only $60. With my type of riding, I’d say snowbird is a god amount mountains out there. lol 3 times the elevation than Brighton and just a challenge. Definitely not a family place as much it is, you need to know what you are doing!!! If you are just getting better but not all that great, stay away from this place. You honestly will not enjoy your trip.
I considered myself very lucky. Had a customer/friend who owned this place way up top in Deer Valley. Ski in, ski out. Had some sort of superpass thing that he could give to guests, so I never had to pay for DV tix. One of the few highlights during my time living out there
