Went out to explore around the Mohawk today.
Not the best pictures (iPhone 3GS) but as they say, the best camera is the one that you have on you at the time and I wasn’t planning on doing this, just saw the opportunity to do so.
I might try to ride a split of the river by GE that is dry right now and go in the middle of the lake bed sometime in the near future. Doesn’t happen to often so why the hell not.
And since the photo’s aren’t the best figured I’d download and play around with Instagram.

a few years ago when it was really low we went off roading in the jeeps in the river. We got to the island you can see from 890 in scotia headed back to Rt5… people were pulled over on 890 watching us, wondering how the hell jeeps got out there. lol
Looks like a blast man. You can follow the river bed for ever if you wanted to. Awesome stuff dude. Have fun!

I’ve been mostly doing city exploring and finding short cuts which cars can’t take and going places you’re not supposed to go but now can :lol

Just took my buddies DR650 out for a rip here in FL. Makes me want to look for another on/off road when I get back into NY.

You can ride right over to that island right now. It’s bone dry the entire way. River is WAY down right now because of lack of snowfall this year, plus they’re keeping it down until they finish the repair work at lock 9 and the like.
