I’ve always been a Craftsman guy for the few tools I’ve bought, but I was at Home Depot the other day and saw a Husky Professional series tool set and bought it. It’s black and cool looking, but it’s fucking expensive.
Should I just keep that ? or just go with craftsman…?
use>looks
some wrenches/screwdrivers/ratchets… are a lil bit different, like mac has better wrenchs for tight areas like puttin on or taking off header bolts
snap on has better screwdrivers cause the tips last longer and u can “pry” on them more, the way ur not supposed to.
thats just what i noticed, ill stay with my advanced auto kit.
Craftsmen has a great warranty system. I sure do break alot of their sockets though. Wondering if Huskie or Snap-On might be better. Everything else I like though!
husky pro and craftsmen have the same warranty… just buy the cheaper of the two. i haven’t had any problems with the husky (we have them at work) but for some reason i always buy the craftsman.
if you use tools everyday like i do … there is one thing you should remember “you get what you pay for” … personaly i love my Snap-On stuff(great warrenty, ratchets and screwdrivers are comfortable, plus most drivers are only a phone call away if ya need a tool in a pinch)
i also have plenty of Mac stuff … and i love SK tools … but thats me
The only problem with Snap-on, Mac is once you start using the stuff and see just how much nicer it is, you can never go back. I think I owe Snap-on my first born child by now
