Tools : Husky Pro vs Craftsman

I’ve always been a Craftsman guy for the few tools I’ve bought, but I was at Home Depot the other day and saw a Husky Professional series tool set and bought it. It’s black and cool looking, but it’s fucking expensive.

Should I just keep that ? or just go with craftsman…?

I say Craftsman, but I don’t really have much experience with Home Depot tools.

howies home depot > *

but i like craftsman.

use>looks
some wrenches/screwdrivers/ratchets… are a lil bit different, like mac has better wrenchs for tight areas like puttin on or taking off header bolts
snap on has better screwdrivers cause the tips last longer and u can “pry” on them more, the way ur not supposed to.

thats just what i noticed, ill stay with my advanced auto kit.

a fellow SSR member just got ordered the one set from harbor freight for 180$ and got it the other day. that set is mad nice. 301 piece set too.

Craftsmen has a great warranty system. I sure do break alot of their sockets though. Wondering if Huskie or Snap-On might be better. Everything else I like though!

husky pro and craftsmen have the same warranty… just buy the cheaper of the two. i haven’t had any problems with the husky (we have them at work) but for some reason i always buy the craftsman.

HF Pittsburgh tools = JUNK w/warranty

ummm hellllllo???

husky pro IS craftsman LOL

made by the same company

Craftsman ratchets are garbage

Hell yeah! They hurt my hands now that I think about it. Round handles are better!!

pretty much everything with a craftsman name is made by another company.

Be careful of their warranties, they are starting to limit them on some products.

if you use tools everyday like i do … there is one thing you should remember “you get what you pay for” … personaly i love my Snap-On stuff(great warrenty, ratchets and screwdrivers are comfortable, plus most drivers are only a phone call away if ya need a tool in a pinch)

i also have plenty of Mac stuff … and i love SK tools … but thats me

The only problem with Snap-on, Mac is once you start using the stuff and see just how much nicer it is, you can never go back. I think I owe Snap-on my first born child by now

Huskie, snap-on, and S-K are the best hands down

for the money you can’t beat craftsman

crapsman makes round handled ratchets

as for which one to buy.
which ever one is sold at a store closest to you. this way you can swap out shit when you break it faster.
