top speed intake mani

Hi everyone,

Does anybody know what the differences if any, are between the $320 Topspeed brand intake mani vs. the $220 ebay offshores?

Thanks

The only real difference ive heard about reading other posts on manifolds off of ebay is that some people complain about the rough surface inside the manifold, usually the “name” brands are smooth on the inside.
But overall people are happy with the ebay manifolds, id suggest go with one or make your own.

Honestly I would stay away from that manifold. I have a greddy knock off oil pan sitting here that is from Top speed and the casting is HORRIBLE. The inside of it looks like its been chiseled out its so rough. The material used is garbage, Id be scared its going to chip off and suck into the engine.

Just look at the inlet in those pictures you can see its chipped. Oh and did I mention the paint comes off when you touch it.

My opinion is pay the extra money for a realy Greddy.

i have heard of the cheap ebay ones causing vac leaks due to bad material and bad fitment

the air actually soaks threw the metal causing a van leak

ide get the Top Speed or Greddy

The manifold that is linked in the top post IS the Top Speed one, and like KoukiS14 said, just look at the pictures… looks like the thing was made with a chisel… and a dull one at that.

Gentlemen…they are from the same place. The casting is very porous. This is less of a performance thing and more of an asthetic observation.

How do I know? I know who makes them and sells them to TopSpeed. :?
