i dont know why people think its so far fetched. People are easily swayed to kingly their government. This wouldnt be the first time it has happened, and it wouldnt be the first time that a government has attempted to disarm its people. Is it because we live in america that people think it wont happen. Do people really think that ther are no evil men at the very top of the pyramid who want control of the entire planet? ther is and there always will be, and this country is the greatest country for them to use to carry out their agenda. Almost all of Obamas cabinet, including himself, are for disarmament, especially rahm emanuel (sp). I was thinking about something along these lines yesterday. In our model, we simply vote for people who we think shares our views, and will do a good job. With Bush, he obviously had enough supporters. In the end, they really should be listening to what the American people want.
Bush didn’t do that. The problem really cropped up when he broke the trust of the voters. His approval ratings were in the dumps. However, he didn’t give a shit. He ignored the people that voted for him, and in the end, it ultimately lead to the entire republican party looking like douchebags.
It is just good to know that after 4 years, we can bump the idiots out and try again.
