Hi I’am going to be doing a sr20 swap around June 2007 and i was wondering which tranny would be best to go with since sr20 trannies seem 2 mess up?

Sr trannies seem to mess up…
The guts of the KA and SR are virtually identical. The only other trannies I could think of going with might be an old top shifting CA tranny, or a 6 speed s15 tranny but those are not as strong as the 5 speed.
So basically. you have no options. you’ll need an SR bell housing no matter what, so just adjust the pins, tighten it up, maybe get a rebuild if it doesn’t work.
There’s nothing more you can do, or options to swap with.

but if thats not sufficient enough and you feel like you need a monster to hold all that power youre putting down (better be a hell of alot) you can go with a Z32 tranny, search for info on that.
