ok, so the title makes it seem a lil’ more urgent than it really is, but my auto tranny is shifting out of 1st really high, like, normal driving it shifts out at what?5K on me, if i mash it, i can redline it before she shifts out, and it goes into second for like all of 500 RPM, then third, does anyone know how to remedy this problem? and please dont suggest a 5 spd swap as the solution, i’ll be doing that later on, i just need help with this tranny for right now, thanks.
When was the last time the tranny fluid was replaced?
Sounds like you’re transmission is going to crap. Sounds a lot like my old '92 Plymouth Voyager. Spent $2400 at Mr. Transmission for them to rebuild it. Try swapping out the tranny fluid. If that doesn’t help, looks like you’re going to need to post a “WTB: auto 240SX tranny” thread

well thanks, i’ll have to check the fluid sometime this week, hopefully it’s something like that, and i already have the tranny, just need the non-abs driveshaft so i dont have to swap rear ends, lol
