Yes. I would think of it as a greater opportunity to win.
I don’t think the “busy” cop would be willing to travel three hours your way for one court case.
In this case it seems a little more difficult. The motion would have to be in front of the judge, so you’d still have spend three hours to go there to get it moved to your court.
Make sure you have all documentation showing why you would like to case moved to your jurisdiction. The Judge WILL ask why you would like it there and ask the Prosecutor why you shouldn’t be granted this motion.
He will probably say that the cop is fully aware of the location and also has evidence and can give a full and proper description to what happened on the location. The judge in the next jurisdiction may not be able to interperet his evidence because there may be first hand experience for him to better visualize it. This is an extremely strong statement and it can be difficult to be granted the motion over. Make sure you and your lawyer come up with something extremely solid.

yeah i agree, if u dont have a valid reason besides “because its far” ull be shit out of luck , a friend of mind did that because he had to take care of his sick aunt and got the change.
