If you datalogged a run with a slipping clutch vs a non-slipping clutch, the boost should fall off as the clutch will start slipping and the load will decrease.
You can easily start overpowering a clutch and it just won’t hold the power. Depending on how you drive the car, you might get away with it for a bit before you have to replace it. My SPEC Stage 2 was like that. Held the torque on pump gas but would just slip when I turned the boost up and the clutch just could not handle the torque. You couldn’t really smell it but you could feel/hear/see it via RPMS.
When my stock clutch was SLIPPING. You could SMELL it. As soon as it got into load, the clutch slipped. The higher the gear, the more load, the more boost, WHATEVER, it slipped. It got worse and worse.
In his case, it could be the clutch but after the amount of abuse it has seen since we have heard of the clutch, it should be DONE by now to the point where it’s not really driveable. It could be a combo of things but driving the car with all these issues and then going to the track and making that trap is should be a huge red flag.
the clutch in the 3/s is a diff setup than the sti dual mass to single diff pressures in the plate and others affecting it travs good at milkin shit as we all know he knows the car is fucked hes tryin but cant get it with the job and all …im not stickin up for him just callin like i see it
For what it’s worth, I am not trying to be mean to him. Travis has a history of justifying anything he wants to and ignoring the obvious facts. There is SOME problem beit tune, missing cylinder pressure, clutch, WHATEVER that isn’t going to get better while he is making laps at LVD. But, it’s his car so he can do what he wants. Just trying to help him.
maybe is a queer subaru design to attempt to create balance to each side… so if thats the case how its shaped, is the pump centrally located with a sloped tank to the center for fuel pick up?

Good question. Either way, the shape alone causes issue if you pre-mix anything with your fuel.
