And then what? Go spend another 15-20k make 1000hp and run low 10s?

I don’t want to convert it to automatic and you reach a point where you make more power but don’t much faster with 6spd on this platform. Not to mention worrying about cage and all the things that come along with it.

We need some 8s! I have to say I am just not that into cruises and meets anymore. Hard to find/make the time.

If you have an oscillating tool with a scraper blade give it a try. It worked pretty well on the rubberized VW undercoating. It may work on dynamat.

This may be a case where dry ice would be worth a try too. Freeze it and smash it with a hammer.

I wouldn’t personally do it, but I like it. What do these weigh stock? 3300?3400? You’re really going to be able to get to 2800?

Car is 347X right now car will be 2800lbs or so when done so right around 3000lb race weight is the goal.

Other people have done it before shouldn’t be a huge deal
