That teacher post can fuck right off. I’d say the politicization of education is the biggest BS that we “as veteran teachers who aren’t total cunts on Twitter” are facing. Veteran teachers actually hate this shit, it’s the fucking liberal arts douches that promote it. Fuck them. I just want to teach my content and be left alone, I didn’t sign up to a fucking political activist or lighting rod for societal change.

EDIT - I just realized it was this past weekend. I was in San Fran from Thur-Mon, I did notice a couple gatherings going on but didn’t stop to watch. It was weird seeing “Breonna Taylor” graffitied all over the place, along with a few people shitting in the street and dozens of tents all over the sidewalks.
