edit: I don’t understand how any sane, reasonable person can stomach trump. Clinton sucks, but he is toxic. He’s out of his mind, and at any other point in history would be considered a national disgrace. His persona is built on any type of phobia you can name. He hasn’t provided one logical or even sane argument thus far. And anyone who cites these breibart-esque, infowars horseshit stories that Clinton is a murderer is just grasping at straws. Trump has, in the middle of an election, advocated war crimes, humiliated anyone slightly different from him in petty and childish ways, defended war criminals, asked other countries to hack us, openly admired Putin (another war criminal)… I could go on and on and on. Advocating war crimes and defending Assad and Putin is worse than erasing emails I think. And what is most troubling about his rise is that it has clearly shown the seething racism and xenophobia among the “right”. He seriously needs to disappear. Clinton won’t win this election, trump is going to lose it.

Depending on what else comes out on Trump and how he reacts to it we are going to see a bunch of ‘surefire’ red states turn blue.
at this point it’s not about Trump’s loss, it’s about what happens down ticket. how much can he hurt the republicans when disgusted republican voters stay home and thus all the others on the tickets lose to democrats.
Downticket Republicans in a lot of states are in a really tough spot. Either they disavow him to try to get Hillary crossover voters, and lose some hardcore Trump people over it, or they double down on him and tie themselves to a potential double-digit losing candidate. There’s less and less ticket splitting these days since pretty much nothing is bipartisan any more.
I’d vote for Ken Bone over either of them.
