i would like to see him exonerate this man and let Julian run free… Trump owes a major debt of gratitude to Julian and his work. And by virtue of that, so do the rest of the republicans in the Senate and Congress.

It’s pretty amazing to see how badly people are reacting to Trump winning office. I was scrolling through facebook when I saw a friend like a post of someone I didn’t know(but of course it shows up on my feed), and they actually compared Trump winning office to 9/11. I get that Hillary supporters are upset but come one. These two events aren’t even in the same realm of emotions.
Hillary won the popular vote. The electoral college is a bit deceiving but this was not a landslide.

Assange has stated he has sought asylum because if he concede to the fake charges he’ll be extradiate to the states to stand trial for the cable releases from a couple years ago or the collateral murder video release or other stuff.

Yes, she’s barely winning in the popular vote but they both built campaigns around winning 270 electoral votes, not around winning the popular vote. If we didn’t have the electoral college both of them would have run completely different campaigns built to chase popular vote and who knows if the outcome would have been different. If you want to have a discussion about eliminating the college fine but, “she would have won” can’t be the basis of your position. No one knows what the outcome would have been had the major parties spent the last 2+ years building a ground game to chase the popular vote instead of 270 electoral votes.
I also find it a little ironic right now that the same people who are so against the 1% having too much power want to eliminate a voting system that was design to take a little bit of voting power away from the handful of giant population states and give that power to the smaller states.

Unlikely. From Julian’s perspective, if he accepts anything from a Trump administration he’ll be seen as biased in that he was doing it all for HIS freedom and not freedom of information. And that will ruin his brand I’d think.
Yeah, not to mention the hypocrisy of running a campaign bashing Clinton (rightfully so) for her mishandling of classified information then pardoning a guy who released classified information.
