I’ve mentioned previously that I simply aggregate memes and post them with a casual eye to content. Spice levels may vary.
Yeah, the batches always seem to have a theme, maybe two. This latest batch felt like the theme was, “Oh you want alt-right? I’ll fucking show you alt-right!”.
Since I specifically said alt-right in my post, I have to assume you are referring to me. I could give a shit if someone leans left or right. You want to slash a whole bunch of free democratic programs that are rife with fraud (ie. generations of families/people on section 8/welfare, free college, etc.), be my guest. But healthcare is critical to the people of this country. And I have to assume there are very few people site on this who work in healthcare, otherwise I would likely see more reasonable/educated views on that here…
Someone selling car insurance or whatever else hardly makes them an expert on health insurance. And the narrow view of a lot of people that are born somewhere, never really left, and get their political views from their baby boomer parents doesn’t help either…
People seemed to have stopped thinking altogether, and that is scary. And this goes to the left as well. Their identity politics, incredibly pc ways, and general insanity over trying to push any “woman” into office just for the sake of being a woman, have become insufferable. But the right’s reaction to all this is nothing to be proud of either. It is all really sad…
The really interesting thing is watching / reading / listening to the daily news, then seeing almost in real-time the counter narrative memes that are created. Some memes are very timely, some are digs and long standing topics.
As far as alt-right goes the media & democrats have successfully branded all Trump supporters with that moniker. Similar to how they want people to think all Trump supporters are KKK members. Real alt-right stuff I won’t post because it often goes to far.
I’ll also slip in a few anti-Trump memes if they’re actually funny, like the ghost busters one :snky:
