Those appear to be standard latches, you could get them anywhere, and they have them for the same reason real people use hood pins, because they have a CF trunk, with no latch assembly.

I’m gonna get that right now, Home hardware here I come.

Exactly, except only poseurs use them when they don’t actually have a latchless CF trunk lid, just like idiots that use hoodpins when their hood latch still works fine.

Dude the down force those hood pins add are unmeasurable you have to track to understand. The rear pins are obviously meant to keep your trunk latch reinforced because if you have the original latches and those they will most likely have the huge spoiler for DOWNFORCE

U are complete wrong about it, in my case, I’m not a poser, I’m not idiot and I do have my latch working 100%, but, I need them to make the line of my carbon fiber hood to be 100% straight as u probably forgot (or u didn’t know) is almost impossible to find a carbon fiber hood or any carbon fiber part that is 100% exatly as oem when it’s about install.

I don’t have a “huge spoiler, yet, lol” ,but, if you compare the weight of a carbon fiber trunk and a oem (I’m talking about the one I have.), you’ll not thing twice about if the trunk latchs are good or not and u are complete rigth about the downforce.

By the way guys, I found it,http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_371&products_id=731

Um, we were serious about the part with Home Depot. If you’re seriously gonna pay $80 for those I have some ocean front property in Arizona for you. Dude, go to Fastenal and they will have latches that look just as nice and cost about $10/each, they’ll attach the same way, look just as nice, and you won’t get raped on the price.
