you guys are jerks :lol
Haha, I was trying to create a little drama. :ssh
:rofl Oh c’mon, you knew that was coming. I mean what, doesn’t your Evo have like 3000 miles on it or something?!?!?! :haha
:nod
Thanks for the feedback, Mike. Sounds like I’ll put that on my wish list this off season.
now THAT’s the sig picture I like seeing Eric!
That was a great event. No compressor surge, the car running flawless, an Evo driver for an instructor who didn’t mistake turbo lag & Brembos for sloppy pedal work, spanking all the BMWs in my group… getting misty eyed just thinking about it. :hug
I’m trying to keep in the new car smell. And it has 19.5K on the clock, so there!
Just alittle FYI: car is going to most likely be wholesaled. I work at Nemer Dodge where you traded it in, and theres only been a few people interested, and they just wanted to come in just to test drive it, and thats it. If I could afford the payments, Id pick it up. Too bad Nemer Dodge pays their employee’s shit.
Via phone calls on Weds the car is in some ECU lockout mode and will not start so test drives are definitely not happening at the moment. I’m going to be making some calls monday and then probably shooting up there some point next week to decipher the issue and get the car running again.
Ah. That would be why its parked infront of the garage and not moving. I heard one of the techs trying to start it, but it wouldnt go.
Correct. Car was started and pulled into the garage one night for security purposes, and would not start the following morning. I have to make some calls to the last person who was inside the ecu to find out what was actually done and then make a trip up to do some work on it.

tell chris rogers i say hi… depending on what tech is working on it it may explain the lockout…
(used to be service writer there beginning of 07’)
I believe it was Aaron (no idea if thats how you spell his name). The guy right next to the front garage door, across from Rogers office, next to Jamie.
I spoke with Chris.
A tech has not been into the car.
trav thinks he knows every one and every reason dont mind him ,
If a tech has not been in the car, how come it wont start then? A ECU dosent just go into lockout mode for the hell of it. Plus, the day after the car was traded in, the managers took it out for a rip. And from my understanding, it was pushed pretty hard (even tho Im sure it can handle anything). Aaron had the car in his bay, doing something to it, then I hear it trying to start, and no go. After like 10 min of trying, everyone is pushing it out of the garage. I was standing 50ft from the car, I saw what was going on…
That’s why I’ve been contacted to come up and figure it out. It’s beyond typical tech stuff it seems, and apparently not something the techs there want to get into(lack of knowledge on cars setup I presume). It’ll get sorted out this week and the car will be up and running again.
Oh and yea, the car can take the punishment
someone a little cocky eh
Well, just about every tech there wont touch anything thats not a Dodge/Crystler/Jeep. Even if its a simple oil change or a tire rotation.
where is this at???
