anybody here actually have a stock rb25 that runs good with a safc??? ive been told they are garbage and that its is a waste of money to even try and have it tune so it will run decent, i have the N62 MAf and apparently thats the reason my car wont run properly. i just want the car to be a decent street car i dont wanna spen thousands on stand alones and such, anyone have input on a cheap and easy way to make my rb25 run good with that maf?

anyways i figured it out, i had to get a rb20 ecu and have it chipped and tunned. works great
Just an FYI: you can chip RB25 ECU’s. What are you using for VVT? You won’t have VVT with an RB20 ECU, and the most power in a stock setup comes from the use of VVT. It shifts the intake cam profile from 242 to 262 4500+ RPM. Right now, you more than likely have a 242 cam profile from 0-redline.
