something els i have been thining about doing is geting
550’s
Safc2
Tuned Ecu
Z32max
and my t28BB(s15)
Now I know this is an alright setup, but if I could not afford the ecu right away would it be alright to run everything els with the Safc2?>? problems that may come about?? Any one els run this?? Dyno tunes??
Ya that is why I would want to get the tuned ECU after and then use the Safc for fine tuning, I just wanted to make sure things would work well untill I could get it, I would still get a wide tune on a dyno even with just the safc to make sure it was the best it could be, you knowlike GI JO
well I can not nessessarly wate, I have to get the car on the road in the spring, if I can do it I will but at the moment looking a little tight,
I already have a T28, used but in good condition, I do not have another $1000 to get a new one.
so I am doing the best I can with what I have, also I really do not drive as hard as a lot of other people here.
I figure it will be a nice set up and when I get an ecu that will be plus and play and then ill just go back to the dyno and get a professional to fix the minor adjustment on the SAFC, I figure since I am getting someone with experence to even do that it will make a big difference with how my car will run.
i just wanted to make sure this was going to be " all GOOD BOIIIII"
Well - if your ecu tuner is any good there is no reason why you should need a SAFC aswell. Therefore, it is my opinion that you need EITHER an safc (cheaper) or a tuned ecu – not both.
I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I’m putting in a GT32 because used turbos are a nightmare.
Keep the t25 in, i was running it to the max at 16 psi, and the duty cycle on the stock injectors was only around 60%, my car was putting out somewhere near 275rwhp. But of course I don’t have to worry about maxing out the mafs, as I am running a standalone.
yeah i am pretty sure that both the turbo and mafs max out before then.
and even still, you would need one hell of a tune to be running over 250rwhp on a T25… like seriously, someone who really really knew what they were doing must have done that.
