Just wondering what everyone who uses this is paying for it?
If there was a paste wax that was super easy on and even easier off(when applied correctly), had a really great wet look on all colors(even silvers and whites) and even had great durability would you use it? Would it take sampling it first?
Collinite. But for a one-step product Gold Class is good. Duragloss (sold at Carquest) is also very good. Klasse AIO is still my favorite one-step though. Some NAPAs are carrying it.
Gold class is a good wax, it has polish in it, longevity is decent to.
I was using collonite 845, then advance was out of it so I tried the nxt 2.0, and had good initial results, but it didn’t look good for more than a few weeks. I just bought another bottle of 845. I’ll just stick with that forever I think. If I use a glaze/polish then the col. 845 it looks even better.
I try to stick with once/year for the claymagic blue, twice/yr #7 glaze, and 4x/year collonite 845.
Collinite doesn’t really leave a happy lasting impression as far as removal if you put it on too thick… good stuff otherwise. I just had a return car from the spring that was topped with 845 and was astounded that it(the 845) was pretty much toast.
When its 630 pm on a warm break in February and you ran out of daylight trying to hurry the process because you have no daytime time to maintain your car?
