I hate how the 35r is flipped, but thats the only way the compressor will clear the block. The block has been trimmed already, and the compressor hits the part where b18 or whatever is stamped.
I just hope we can finish the 35r install as nice as you had it travis.
Well, Slater came over with the parts and we got some progress done. Everything is just tacked up, the inside of all the pipes were cleaned, I was just slacking on cleaning the outsides up, but will do that prior to final welding. Hopefully I can get Gombos back over here to tig it up so I don’t have to MIG it.
The clearance between the turbo outlet and the radiator is really tight. In order to get everything to fit the initial down turn from the v-band had to b done in a smaller diameter, but soon as it cleared the rad we ballooned it back up to 3 inch. The pics don’t do it justice, everything flows really nice and im really happy how its turning out.
The wrx isnt that fast.Everyone seems to forget that the STI is faster and it competes with the Evo.the wrx deffinetly doesnt…If the evo was stock he should still beat me.The wrx is an 06 with a TBE,cobb stageII reflash and an intake.nothing special
The Ion isnt stock…his 3rd gear is really strong.thats when he passes most people.
