plus there’s already a corvette and a 5.0 in my family…why do we need another one
well, the project is slowly progressed…
the new turbo is on, and downpipe is fabricated, just need to weld on the wastegate dump pipe, and fix up the rest of the exhaust, all oil lines are run,and oil drain has been welded to oil pan… car was test started to make sure the turbo isn’t blown, started it up, cranks for 2 seconds and fired right up, no oil leaks, and the downpipe is air tight…
with this major step out of the way, i can move my attention to the intercooler and intake portion of the build, injectors and safc are next major purchases on the list…
friday is my next day off, i will be getting current pictures and mounting the intercooler and running some of the pipe…
just figured i’d keep some posted, its slow going, but the wrench is put into it, everything is done right the 1st time so i donnt have to tear it apart again to fix stupid bs…
