Judging that piece because everything is not centered in that machined flat is rediculous.
And, if you would like, I can go and take a picture of my 4G63 from my Evo and show you that damn near every machied feature in the head is not dead centered in each of the cast bosses. Shit, for that matter, go take a look at virtually ANY motor out of ANY car and you will see that.

theres also a big difference between “not dead center” and “on the very edge”
i dont expect the holes to be perfectly centered, but i would prefer my bolt holes to be more then an 1/8 inch from the edge
ive seen enough dsm’s to know that they dont do that shit on production parts … maybe here or there … but not on 5 holes out of 6 that hold any certian part on
