dude, i said megacruiser
dude, i said megacruiser
wow sick i can’t belive i didn’t know about this one, wow its practically a toyota humvee. thanks for putting this up, nice!!!
yeah, i actually want one, but we cant import them yet, and i dont have $90 000 to buy one, and then ship it
yea thats the only thing about Canada, we have to buy everything nice from outside, then get Raped by customs on taxes.lol, atleast we can now legally get r32’s, and look how many there are now, i knew nissan.ca and toyota.ca were bullshiting when i asked them the reasons for not havin these sick models, i usually got “the patrol or cruiser was too big”, and that people want small tiny tit cars according to their research, im like oh yea what about the escalade, and humvee those are more costly and bigger, its all about monopoly and money…
why are all “MY” pictures being removed?
As a avid 4x4er, the vehicles in this thread are not suitable for off roading in most areas, they are too big and heavy and lack a solid front axle suspension - very important key to wheeling. A independent front suspension is too weak, has too many components and is not strong enough. The Megacruiser is a big pig that would be stuck in no time (along with hummers)
While the Japanese make great 4x4’s Jeep still rules the terrain with thier simple design and solid front axles! and the awsome 4.0L I6 motor!
Us 4x4ers, look for “flex” so it can articulate over the obsticles properly, keeping all the wheels on solid ground, you just can’t get it with IFS!
Jeff
i should turbo my 03 nissan pathfinder, it would be gangsta.:R
thats going on the rocks, there are no rocks in the middle east, its desert, thats why their cars are like that, and jeeps barely survive there typical, and btw land cruisers and nissan patrols could be modified to do what you guys do, but they are not brough here because then jeep would be out of business, i’ve been in every suv possible, and land cruiser and nissan patrol kill all others, the only reasonable, cherokees were the cherokee classic 2000 type model, those were really good, but now jeep is soft.
you can go fast, but us jeepers can go anywhere!

Here is what the Jeep XJ is capable of, and most of these mods can be had for around 10K or less
Jeff
LOL I dought it highly, Toyota is a very well built and modified vehicle, and is avalible around the world, including here and the Jeeps are still around and compete head to head with them. The old Nissan Xterra is a awsome vehicle and can be modified, but still comes short when you compare it with Jeep products…
I agree as an owner of a 1998 XJ, the new ones are not upto the off road performance of the XJ’s and SFA Jeep of 2004 and older…but I chock that upto gov’t regulations and idiots who want everything in one package!
Jeff
bro i don’t mean to be rude, but that is just plain stupid, 10k for mods only then a suv is a off road, and then you guys go climbing huge rocks, slower than catapillars, and said that the suv’s i posted up are not proper suv’sor off-roaders, well then i think you should tell that to toyota and nissan, and off-road means off-road, not that the vehicle can climb huge boulders.
you were talking about stress on the axels and all, imagine 800hp turboed nissan patrol going up a 40 story building i.e 75 deg sand dune, and making a hard right and gong horizontal on a vertical surface, and or going 80deg down at high speeds then vertical and so on, one, there massive G forces when you do this, second thats enoght to put real stress on the engine, shocks, axels even the human, there is no way your jeeps get the torment that these suv’s get in the desert, i dont mind your sport but you can’t say your jeeps are real off roader, and these suvs are not.
take care.
Okay then post up pics of these things doing that, not just sitting there in a nice parking lot next to Grandma’s Mercury Sable…
and as for prices, post what those machines cost…
Jeff
btw 1. this is not a jeep web-site, we are anti-american dombestic vehicles
the thread says “turbo suv” that should explain the post and pics.
if you want to compare a wrangler then that should be compared to the toyota fj, jeep wrangler is not in the same leauge as the land cruiser, i.e the price difference, the grand cherokee is in the land cruiser league.
chill out guys, and B13 has a point, “dis aint no deng yeehaw jeep webersites”
now chill out, best SUV i’ve seen is a military spec Mercedes G-Wagon.
Turbo diesel, and you can drop it from 6 metres up in the air and drive away.
2.Yes I know it says Turbo SUV, I was just stating my opinion of what the original intent of a SUV should be…
This was not meant to bash anyone just show you what vehicles and thier skilled drivers are capable of…American or otherwise:)
Jeff
There you go jeff, i got tired after i found these vids, and couldn’t be bothered to go any longer even though i didn’t even get to the land cruiser, however i think this is enough to let you know why the wranger dosen’t compare to the cruiser and patrol. Simply doing some of the stuff some people do with them they will die, i can’t imagine hittting the red line in a wrangler for half an hour and walking away with it,ohhh wait… i would have to walk away.lol jks jks.
