some of my frds said turbo timer is not good for ur turbo.it actually warmed up ur turbo.
what is exactly the use of turbo timer?
does it make a huge different than i cool it up manually after stopped for 30s plus driving at low rpm before i stop?
I guessing what he meant to say is that it actually made the turbo hotter, rather than “cooling” it.
If you have any turbo that came on a Nissan vehicle stock there is absolutely no need for a turbo timer because if Nissan didn’t need it, why do you all of a sudden need it?
If you have a large, expensive, and ball bearing turbo that was just pushed for a long time at the track, then yes I could see a possible need for it.
to use or not to use a turbo timer, doens’t really matter, just use your head. I have them in all my turbo cars, but only use em when I have been driving really really hard with no cool down. When I’m cruising around time and have been off boost for a little while, I don’t feel the need to use em.
