Hey guys, I heard that installing a turbo timer will cause your car alarm to malfunction or something. Is this true?
I want to install one cause I push it a bit on the highway and everytime I get out of the car, I don’t really idle for a minute before shutting it off.
So will any turbo timer affect a car alarm?
I like the TT integrated with the alarm, but I don’t want to rip out my existing one…
No it won’t affect the alarm istself, it just that it’s very difficult to get the car to arm on its own after the timer has run out. As well with any turbo timer that isn’t a direct function of the alarm itself, it is moronically easy for anyone with even the slightest electronics know how to hot wire your car. Just a thought.
