Nice job, came out well.
I have to ask, who did your garage floors? Is it one of those DIY kits?

Wild stuff. Does the turbo have additional support or is it entirely supported by the up-pipe?
Thanks guys!
I did it myself with a Rustoleum kit. The one i used was a “commercial grade” kit that was a little harder to come by. I guess the ones they sell at lowes are garbage. I have no complaints, this floor is 5 years old and has had a lot of abuse… its just a little scummy right now but it cleans right up.
As of right now its just free standing. Out of laziness i never put the braces on my twin kit and i know turbols1ss never braced his big turbo and those are/were just fine. That being said, i know drew mentioned making some type of brace for it so ultimately that is probably what will happen.
It would probably be worth while to brace it. I did notice my turbo start to sag after a few years. Not anything dramatic, but still worth consideration.
Turbo kit (at least the hot parts) are all done. BIG thanks to Drew for all his help, wouldn’t have been possible without the help of him and our friend Shawn.
This thing will be sweet as hell finished. Glad to be a part of it.
Wow. Who’s “hate shop?”
@jt76 is the hate shop. But I built the kit so maybe I am? hahaha But I like kittens so I don’t think so.
He wanted something on the exhaust where it sticks out of the bumper.
That looks pretty nasty. Good work.
Fits so well for it being built 30 miles from the car
last one of the kit, all wrapped now
One from welding in the gates. Wish I took a few of the flange welds. This came out real nice.
Awesome work. What are you guys using for a TIG welder?
I have a Miller Diversion 180
Sick welds are SIQQ!
looks pretty insane and love the color. what sort of an interior / cage is this getting?
oops
thanks. Factory interior (in appearance, i have gutted the dash and what not but by looking at it you can’t tell. I would like to pick up some lower end corbeau seats. 10pt at some point
sucks about the trans man, didn’t you just have it rebuilt a few years ago?
4L80E? Glide?
Didn’t see your post until now… no the trans was built back in 2008, just put a new clutch in though. Sold the clutch and broke even so i guess it only cost me a thursday night.
Got some more progress done on the mustang today. Took some time off work while its still nice and I have a pile of vacation time.
