ATV im looking at (Honda 300ex) needs a new battery.
Dealer wants $80
Walmart has them for around $50
eBay has this for $37
The dealer and walmart have the type with acid in them but eBay has the gel type. I plan to mount the battery in the normal spot and up right, but wondering if having a gel battery would be better for a quad.
I used to sell a ton of WPS batteries when I worked at don Georges. Get whatever and get a $6 battery tender from Harbor freight and call it a day.
I’ve always used Diehard batteries in my cars/boats since I was 16. In all these years I’ve never had a Diehard die before I got rid of the vehicle in fact. Put one in my sled at the start of this season and had no issues with it.

I was going to suggest that, but if he is buying a 300ex and I’m going to guess he won’t have it long and want to upgrade.
