I need to get a resume and a portfolio together (I went to UB for architecture and urban planning). However the only portfolio stuff I have is from senior year (my roommate took my jump drive to school without asking last year and lost it).
Anyway, I need a resume ASAP, job opportunity wants it this week hopefully. I have thursday morning off, was thinking about going in to Career Services or whatever and getting some resume assembly help. Anyone ever go there?
dre, you can get tons of info online and come up with a good rough draft. Then take that to career services and they will tell you what to fix.

yea, make one up and have them mark it up for you. helped me a lot and give you some insightful things to put on there that you wouldnt normally think of

i believe they help alumni as well, do it
UB’s career and planning office is useless. Just get a sample resume from someone and start from there.
