UEGO Aem wideband

Hey guys,

Ive been looking into the afr uego guage from aem and i was wondering if any of you have any feedback for it? Ive looked at reviews on you tube but none have been on a s-chassis so i was wondering it anything would make it different.

Also im not sure if you can use the wideband just like that or do you need the full AEM ems standalone system. As for installation seems pretty simple.

Any review from my fellow Sonners would be great.

nah a wide band requires no stand alone system. unless you plan on tuning. the wideband only tells you A/F ratios. AEM is a pretty well known name and i havent personally heard bad things about them. a wideband is simply a more advanced O2 sensor. with a digital read out.

never heard a complaint from the people i know with em, easy to install works like a charm, necessary for any tuning from safc to pfc

its amazing.

I have one in my s13 and haven’t had any problems.

There is a reason pretty much everyone uses them.

perfect. thanks guys. look like ill be picking one up very soon!

Amazing unit. You can also replace your o2 with out having to make another bung for the AEM Unit. The unit comes with wires that you can run to the o2 input on your ecu, so your ecu wont eff you around. I have one currently installed on my car and is an amazing unit.

I love mine

Only problem with replacing your stock O2 is that the sensors don’t last as long that close to the engine… too much heat for them.
