Ugh. Why didn't you guys warn me.

:sad

Fits like crap.

However, including the partial refund because it’s a piece of crap, it was less than $200, so I made over $200 on the switch, and the sound is great, only slightly more aggressive tone, bit louder, and feels the same as with the catback off. It’s also about 10 lbs lighter, so that’s cool too.

All in all I’m pretty unsatisfied, but it’s my own fault.

Next step is a custom single and headers. Bah. Live and learn.

:rofl damn :sad

im sure it can be heated up and re positioned

Maybe its just a hanger issue?

yea im sure you can tweak it

Oh for sure, it’s just bullshit that I even have to.

I’ll bet you the $200 you made on it that you put the outer muffler hanger on the wrong set of studs.

Paypal is fine.

someone prob. told u just couldn’t here cuz u were infected with moldy weed!! :ohnoes

either what jesse said,

or just heat her up, loosen the flanges a bit, and tweak it. those flanges can actually make it hang weird too.

There is only one set of studs on the outside, the inside has two sets, I hope it’s that simple though, I’ll take a look tomorrow

If that doesnt do it, loosen everything up, have a friend hold the tips centered, then tighten everything up evenly.

That’s the thing though, I bolted the hangers on first, centered them, tightened them down, then when I went back to the flanges I had to pull the catback via tightening the flanges a good 3", like there was that much space between the catback and midpipe flanges.

After I got the flanges tight, went to the back of the car, saw that the way it sat from the rear looked terrible, so I did just that: Loosened everything out back up, wiggled it around, etc. It seems like the exhaust is about 2" too short overall.

Minor issue, easy fix.

Are you satisfied with it in general?

As of right now, and my drive to work, and the fact that it leaks from one of the flanges…no, not really.

I’m currently thinking about sending it back and trying to get a full refund.

And this is why we dont buy off ebay.

wish i had the $ for it, i’d probably take it… i’m gonna make my own though with a dual-in dual-out magnaflow.

I know :sad

I have a couple tricks up my sleeve yet though. :ninja

yeah thats a good point… check it out benny

not a hanger issue unless they are bent. its different from the stock catbacks mounting. the bracketry is fixed flat stock. they don’t slide on the pinch of the canister like they do stock.

you got exactly what you payed for. i dont think you deserve a refund lol.
