can you run a car with out oil? I went off roading in the civ and punched a hole in the oil pan and ran it out of oil. I didn’t notice until it was clapping pretty loud I looked and noticed the oil light was on. 
I hope its not ruined. It wasn’t knocking yet, but it sounded like the whole motor was just mechanically loud. All in all i would say it was run for about 3 minutes around 3k RPM. Is my car fuct?

civics can actually take a lot of abuse, but I wouldn’t expect it to last much longer, get a new oil pan and fill her up, see what happens lol.

or a really nice d16a6 with low miles. the prices obviously vary.

put a new pan on it and fill it with oil, I bet its still fineI’ve changed my oil and had about 1/2 a quart come out and le cackord is still running. do work son
