I dont know if cossey wants too but theres a 5spd gtr tranny here in albany probally grab it for 800 bucks and maybee you can steal the imput shaft out of that
5 speed and 6 speeds have different input shafts unfortunately
Has anyone called MA-Motorsports to findout if they actually did THIS work or if it’s been touched since they had it? When Johnny. from Honda-tech owned it, it was said to have a Cusco triple plate in it. I don’t know if he sold it to someone else and then Cossey bought it from them. Maybe someone else swapped it out for an Exedy? The car was only making around 400/400…no need for a triple disc either way.
V160 front
R160 front:
99% the same.
you can see on teh R160(GTR) box how the input shaft necks down about 10mm in diameter just past the shaft seal. On the V160 supra box, it’s noticeably beefier.
I’m getting the Supra shaft regardless of what we decide to do here. I’m looking into this more…

I ditched my OSGiken on the Supra for this very reason.
