Unintended side effects of legalizing pot: add yours

There is a company that retrofits semi trailers with grow operations and you can buy them to startup.

I would assume since the state you grow it in says its illegal to have it…

probably a no go.

You think I am paranoid now? Can you imagine if I smoked weed? LMAO

Its not illegal…

Keep in mind that this is all still illegal on the Federal side. (I am referring to weed, not moonshine)

you sure?

The 1978 law didn’t legalize moonshining, though; you still can’t brew spirits for private consumption. It is kosher, however, to own a still and process alcohol—but only if you’re using the alcohol as fuel and you have a permit from the ATF. (In some states, you can purchase a legal version of moonshine from commercial distillers.)

Of the percentage of the population that drinks liquor/beer, or smokes cigarettes/cigars, etc… how many actually produce their own? Percentages are low, and would be with recreational marijuana users if it became readily available in your area.

I think it will ultimately depend on the price and strength. If the private market doesn’t like then they’ll circumvent. It’s a weed, it’s very easy to grow unlike cigs, beer, alcohol.

Have you ever smoked?

If the quality per price is anything like it is in California, I don’t think anyone’s going to have issues buying it instead of growing it.

I find it almost funny at how upset theblue is at this. I’m dying to know why

I just got back from LA, there were people selling dope everywhere in public, it was 40$ for a “medical permit”, guys walking around cops just puffin and huffin

I’m not upset at all, I like the idea of legalizing it in some ways, but it’s not a cure to anything except productivity.

I beg to differ… there’s lots of people out there who benefit from it medically… It’s a lot more effective/less addictive than the Opiates that Drs prescribe for everything now a days; not even mentioning the appetite issues with cancer treatments.

pain relief is not a cure, beyond that I can agree with you.

Balls.

lol, just saw a post. Mile high stadium…literally.

Longer wait times to get through 4-way stops… as the stoners wait for the sign to turn green before they go.

Even slower traffic on the highway…
“Do you know how fast you were going?”
“No officer I don’t. 70 maybe?”
“7! You were in the left lane of the highway going 7 MILES PER HOUR!!!”
“oh”

OEM ‘stance’ options on VW’s full line of Golf’s will be flying off the lots!

Let’s be real… you must be high to think that larger rear rims on a FWD car looks cool.

If it were to happen in NY, my neighbor with the grilled cheese food truck moves into spaulding lake after a year.
