Just started playing…I have a lvl 17 undead mage named Dertin on Detheroc server. Friggin RedDawg got me addicted to this game, I’m falling apart! Anybody have opinions on best way for me to spec at low levels?

haven’t announced any new classes yet, lots of rumors about the new alliance race having to be dropped at the last minute because it wouldn’t fit in with the story line so they have to redo it all
thats good that they care more about storyline then pumping out shit just for revenues… at least in my opinion

Just did my second run through MC tonight… setup an alliance with 20/20 split from each guild.
We waxed lucifron, and and got to magmadar in just under two hours… i left after the second attempt but I guess they killed him on the fourth try ( mind you we had no fear ward… no dwarf preist.) . They also whiped out Garr ( with 3 warlocks … very impressive )… all in one night… and for a first time run, with a first time alliance… :tup: … things are looking up.
Someone asked what the best pvp class was… I would have to say shamen… they piss me off… shamen = godmode…
If i were to think about doing straight pvp i would go with warrior tho… can’t beat the damage given to damage recieved ratio.
for pvp tho, def Warrior or Rogue… rogue if you like to be slimey, and backstab people while they are downing a brew… warrior if you just like to jump buckwild into a group of 3 and start hacking away.
If you need any pointers or whatever on the MC bosses Matt, my raid groups got pretty much everything on farm status (cept Rag is still beating our asses. The Sons are killing too many DPS). As an aside, I finally got my Might shoulders this weekend, by virtue of every other warrior having them.
As far as PvP goes, i’d roll a mage or a shadow priest. Since rogues and, to a lesser extent, warriors are so common on most servers, as a mage or a shadow priest you can still kick ass in PvP, but get into groups and raids to gear yourself up (since going to BG’s at 60 in greens = death. They’ll eat you alive.) Or even a warlock. Well played warlocks are pretty nasty, and locks are rare.

I may hit you up for strategies and whatnot… this new alliance is fucking pimp tho… we really click, and the guys on both sides have their shit together.
Once you guys get rolling, you’ll realize MC is f-ing easy. 5 man Zul’Farrak when everyone’s a nub, wearing greens, with only some idea of how to play their class? That’s hard. 40 level 60’s in blues/purples who are competant in playing their class? That’s easy. Cleaning house in MC is just about positioning and timing. Nothing more to it. The hardest part is getting 40 people together who are willing to listen and wipe a lot while you learn.

110g… I keep buying all these blue items up off the AH for 5g a piece… bid, dont buyout… then sell them in the IF trade channel for 10-15g… take your time… wait till the weekend if you must, it will sell eventually (prices are for lvl 25-30 items)… for these items dont use the AH, waste of money w/ the deposit and it might not sell… use AH for greens and trade goods…
once all my auctions/trade channel sales go through I should be around 140+g… still level 36
oh and I made private through arathi basin… I love guarding the flags as a rogue, just and wait in stealth and when they start to turn the flag mmmmm cheap shot, backstab x 3, then crit eviscrate… dead…
oh yeah… waiting on axe of ren’ji for 11g… even if I can only sell it for 15g its still profit… but I figure I’ll probably get 20-30g for it maybe more on the weekend
Axe of rinji will probably sell for a bit more than 20g. It’s a very good high end axe, and if you win it for that low, you can probably sell it for more than that
i need to start doing some BG’s and get my hks up, ive been a private forever.
