I am not sure if the tech is actually better, but maybe the layout is a lot nicer in the M cars.
For example, the Screen is high on the dash where the AMG is in the middle and the graphics seem much better in the M Cars
the IDrive menu system is superior to the AMG (Not commenting on functionality, mere styling and design)
And the thing that drives me absolutely insane in the AMG is that when you have the front defrost on, you cannot change temperature or drop fan speed below half.
I really love the AMG…if it had 60k on it, I would drive it for a few more years.
