we should start with cleaning this dump up, rather than building over garbage.

:dunno:

lofts are for ego centric metro sexuals who are mad they don’t live in NY

The hell with upscaling the Burgh fix the damn pot-holes first…

way over priced

I trhink those apartments are pretty cool

^yuppie^

:hs:

Why the hell would a private company fix pot holes? It’s not like the city itself renovated those buildings.

Why can’t a private company fix our pot holes? I would be much more willing to pay for them to fix them than PennDOT.

BTW, why does PennDOT advertise on the Zamboni at Pens games? Is there really another Department of Transportation coming in here and stealing their business? If so, I hope it’s WVDOT and we start getting some smooth highways like them…

that’s cause donkeys and carriages don’t cause potholes like cars do.

And 50mph speed limits on random highways? :ugh:

umm… guess who paid the real estate development company to come into pittsburgh and develop…

Ummm…you want to give me some proof that we paid them?

how about you show us some proof we didn’t pay them? haha :bigthumb:

They didn’t give Ferchill a direct subsidy, but provided him with tax abatement to get the project up and running. Who knows how much that is worth.

Tim Judson of the Ferchill Group said, “Although tax abatement didn’t drive the (Heinz) deal, without it, the project doesn’t work.”

the loan was taken throuhg PNC with help from the mayors office and the urban development… how do you think they can afford the loan? because it’s written into the city budget to allow lower rates for developing firms… so the shortcomings of the loan will be paid through the city subordinates… tax payers.

WOA, you said we PAID the development company, where the hell does it say that?

70mph speed limits roxxor though. Not that anyone in Pittspurgh area follows speedlimits. I go faster up there in the 55 zones than I go down here on I79 with a limit of 70. They def need to up the speed limits around Uniontown.

you must have got picked on alot when growing up and really through out your life
