i know the internal wastegates run a vacuum from the actuator to the compressor housing.
i have a greddy type S BOV for the car and i need to know where the 2 little vaccum tabs on the top of it get ran to.
Need help ASAP!

Only one of the vacuum ports need to be hooked up. It the larger one. Give it a good vac source or you will get compressor surge. The other vacuum port is to keep you car from loosing boost on shifts or some BS. Honda-tech.com has a lot of info on it.
Oh yea and good luck b/c I still get surge w/ teh one you sold me on every shift. Only time if completely blows off is when I’m under full throttle and full shifts but I am using a vac source shared w/ boost gauge. I need to rearange some things. Only run your wastegate off the nipple near the compressor so its a very true source.
The small hose you removed from the stock BOV must be connected to the larger nipple on the anodized cap (closest to the adjustment screw.)
(Note: This connects to the intake after the throttle butterfly and will pull vacuum when the throttle is closed)
The smaller nipple on the cast aluminum body of the BOV may be spliced into the turbo outlet pipe or into the line between the turbo and wastgate actuator. Use the T-connector supplied. This connects to pressure even when the other line has vacuum. This will activate the BOV faster by applying pressure under the valve seat.
The smaller nipple may also be left unconnected. The BOV will operate slower and more quietly. I did not test this mode.

close nuff?
yeah the 2nd one is for the fast open feature
ewww…maybe I should hook up the second one. I thought it was to maintain boost. I get surge then blow off.
google ftw
