I just received the e-mail stating I had to validate my employment to continue with my 22% discount through Verizon. Problem is, I changed jobs a few months back and my new company doesn’t have any discount that I can find. Is there any way to get around this? Is it possible to fake a company e-mail address maybe?
still have business cards or something? I heard that works if you show up at a branch
You need to have a pay check stub or an email address at the company. Send me a pm of who you work for and I will see if I can help
SAXON CAN GET UNLIMITED DATA PLANS
Sweet! PM Sent!
Yea just shoot saxon a PM he will hook it up
Oh siq I’ll PM you when I upgrade my phone.
Verizon must be cleaning their records or something… I just had to do this myself. Lost my ITT discount of 20% which I had for the past 5 years; out of the blue they asked to re-verify it. Moog is only a 15% discount; but luckily my wife’s work is a 18%… so we lost 2% in the end.
Oh shit I better get in on this!
It will suck if AT&T does this. I have 30% TWC discount with them still.
:word:
I would consider making a fake paystub at that point
Do you still have access to your old email? I know that some small companies aren’t always on top of things. A friend get this letter and he was able to log into his old email account and activate it even though he hadn’t been there is 2 years.
I tried that to no avail. My old company is pretty spot on with that shit. Saxon found that my current company gives a 12% discount, so I would only be losing 10%, but that still sucks. Probably be around $20 more a month now. Anyone know how to make a fake pay stub? That might be an option.
Find old stub, scan it and alter the dates and maybe some of the $$ value. then email said “copy” to phone company as proof.
yes they are, i get at least one call/email a day asking about it.
think about it this way… there were still thousands of people getting discounts through circuit city even though its no longer a business… i wouldnt expect another “cleaning” for a couple years at least though as it does cost quite a bit of man hours to accomplish it
for anyone with a small construction type of business they are eligible for a 22% discount with many other perks if their account is put in the business name…
