Thanks for that update. That worked for me. I was searching for something like this last night.
My family didn’t have TV in the village of Hamburg last night, but they had internet. I guess Verizon said it would be several days as they had to go house to house.
Now the word is (friend called right after me) is the servers are backlogged with resets as the news got out, and it’s taking up to an hour per box, and remotes are even longer as they’re all ending up in cue to get back online. Don’t quote me, that’s what they told him.
no issues for me, west seneca.
FU buddy, you’re about two miles away too… you get all the breaks don’t you? lolz.
Finally got everything back.
Still down in Amherst
My stuff worked all weekend and last night and now the TV is down
Did you try the reset as posted earlier?
I’m in west seneca/op and all that I’ve experienced is a little bit of sluggishness on my 25/25 last night, but it’s fine now…TV hasn’t gone out at all. Guess I’m lucky
still no TV … im starting to get a little aggravated … tried the reset … no luck
Yeah, tried that last night on a whim, tried again this morning. Still nothing now that i’m home from work.
Gotta call for a remote reset
Hilarious
The STB reset worked for me, but my internet is still slowww
I called 3 hours ago and had a complete reset done and all that jazz. did nothing, time for round two and bitching about cancelling my service that i just subscribed to 23 days ago.
Same here except TV hasn’t been out…YouTube is taking fucking forever, pages taking forever. Speedtest would indicate I’m on something less than DSL.
My non-dvr boxes are still fucked, and this just sits there loading. Honestly JayS I am not pissed off (at least I wasn’t with my original posts even if my tone implied that), now I am rather aggravated. You know why, because there has been one notice to customers via email like you’d expect.
just got off the phone with verizon…definitely a outage/issue in the Buffalo area (as if we didn’t know that already). No time frame, no help…lame.
The lady was nice, knew what she was doing and spoke english… for support.
Did a Live chat and all fixed now, that in home thing looks neat if it actually would work for me.
