Yea it was quite a shock since I push a hell of a lot of data through my phone. Nice getting hit with a $26 in data charges.
Yea I had to change my plan when someone on the plan wanted to update their phone which is bullshit in itself. You should be able to keep the current plan you are on if you are staying a customer IMO. Not be like, “Oh hai verizon, i want to pay you for an already overpriced phone but seriously, change my plan because this saving money and being happy with mine is over rated”. Also, $30/month on top of a calling plan is a rip off when providers out there provide it for free on their $30/month voice plans.
Since my company is going to AT&T, I am leaning towards carrying one phone with my personal number and using it for work so swapping SIM cards wouldn’t be an issue. With either provider, I need to see calls coming on on both numbers so simply swapping SIM or NAM modes would not be acceptable since I would not get calls on the second number while I am on the first one.
I agree with the features. I hate having to check my plan over and over again when I change something. So many times the incompetent assholes have taken the feature off the wrong number or added it to another line. I finally started recording the calls after I received a $224 texting bill when they told me it was on but wasn’t. Seriously, someone can run up data until the threshold and then get letters telling you to stop but when someone is constantly texting and racing up hundreds of dollars on a $30/month calling plan, they wouldn’t think to ask?
