Verizon Wireless

Who has it and what are the pro’s and cons .

i have them…and no compliments here…i have had every other cell company out there & they were the best with coverage by far

I have it, just dont accept refurbished phones when they want to replace yours, everytime we got a refurbished phone is was damaged in some way or another. other then that their alright, just kinda pricey on the plans

I have had Verizon for years, no complaints. Good coverage.

I’ve had Verizon for years. Had AT&T before that. Verizon FTW, by far. AT&T has nicer phones (iPhone), but shitty service. My company has switched to AT&T from Verizon and nobody is happy with the new phones/coverage.

had AT&T for years switched to verizon. was the best thing i ever did. much better all around

my only complaint is that both my wife and i had the same phone bought the same day last year and they both broke in the exact same spot were the hindge was weak from the factory and when i went to get new phones i was told that the phones we had were know for the problem and in order to get new phone i would have to pay for new phones, i think that is bullshit that they should replace their faulty equiptment free of charge other than that ive never had a problem in the last 5 or 6 years . great service compared to other companies ive had.

Thanks for all the positive feedback . We have AT&T now and are looking into going with Verizon . Verizons package is cheaper than the package that is close to AT&T’s.

I went from Verizon to AT&T(current)…VERIZON wins by a mile - except data plans are expensive

Gotta agree. Verizon had much better coverage, although I now have a signal in a few places I needed it but didn’t have coverage through Verizon. I’ve also quit dropping near as many calls over the last few months.

The biggest reason I switched over to AT&T was for the rollover minutes. I have a 2100 minute plan that I share with my wife (she might use 400 on a really talkative month) but I’m always under minutes in the winter and over minutes in the summer, so I’m hoping it balances out better this year. So far it seems like it will.

But never had an issue with Verizon with the exception of a few dead spots, for over six years.

i have them. nothing bad i can say

Had them for a few years, pretty decent customer service as far as most cell companies are concerned. They’re flexible enough to work out payment plans and stuff like that, overall fairly good, only ever had one or two issues with them. Do recommend. No problems with coverage or such either

I second what was said about the data plans being expensive. I seem to have quite a bit of dropped calls, particularly in my house. I do get good coverage compared to other carriers though. I went to Illinois with my sister recently and I had coverage in the middle of nowhere while she had no coverage with T mobile (iirc).

But honestly it’s not Verizon’s problem that your POS LG phone broke. Although Verizon should contract with better manfs. in the future. Hell look at my motorola, there is very little glass left in the face, the back in dented in, but it still works like a champ.

And as for Verizon Wireless, my only complaint is the screw you on air time. You make a 1:01 call, and your getting banged for 2 minutes of air time, even though you were only 1 second over a minute. I also dont like the fact that they bang you for air time when your surfing the web, even if you have a plan with them. Atleast I’m under the understanding that they do. But I’m sure all the others do the same.

i got it. good company.

I have Verizon too and can’t complain at all. Not only is their coverage the best but everybody I know has them too. I don’t even come close to using all my minutes because almost every call I make is considered “in calling”

ONE PIECE OF ADVICE:
Don’t buy directly from Verizon or at the Verizon store! Go there to check out the working display models then head to Best Buy (or other electronics store) to buy.

I phone shopped for longer than I’d like to admit and Best Buy had the best prices by far. Their insurance plan is better than Verizon’s too.

DO NOT BUY THE SAMSUNG GLYDE! Huge pos! I’ve had 5 and I still can’t get one that works. But other than that haven’t really had any problems.

Other than the occasional shitty phone, I have been with Verizon for 8+ years and never had a complaint. Dropped maybe 5 calls the past 4 years.

have been with them for 10 years before it was even Verizon back when it was Bell Atlantic mobile never had an issue with them great service everywhere

yeah yeah. i have had them for about 14 years now. my parents have had it since the first phone came out for them we are talkin zach morris cell phone style. (my dad worked for bell for 33 years so he had some perks) i love verizon.
